Arriving before my program start date
Dec-15 Travelling alone was very fun for me because I love meeting new people from different countries and talking to them. My flight left Boston at around 2 p.m. despite the fact that it was scheduled to leave at 12 p.m.. After one hour, I landed in New York (JFK airport) and stayed there for two hours, sitting tight for my next flight to Paris. In JFK, shockingly, there was no WiFi and I was completely guttered because I didn't bring anything else to keep me occupied. I got up and walked around for some time and went into a souvenir store because I had forgotten to purchase my Host family a gift. I heard someone speaking French so I went up to them and started a conversation and asked if they were taking the same flight as me and they were. I didn't see him after that but I also talked to the person who was sitting next to me even though they didn't speak French.
